| This home was established in 2006 as a result of the high incidence of orphans and poor street children due to deaths in the family resulting from HIV/AIDS. These orphans were being left under the care of extended family members who were not be able to provide for them, would pull them out of school, and force them to work in order to earn keep. The home in Yamah was founded to care for these orphans of the marginalized in this rural community. Having doubled in numbers since opening its doors, they are quickly outgrowing their space.
