| This home provides disabled adolescents with education and recreational activities in order to teach them how to live on their own. Through professional and life-skills workshops, the staff aims to make every adolescent aspire to meet future goals. The staff and volunteers also engage in community outreach to educate society that a disability does not mean that a person cannot live and work on his or her own.
Volunteers are needed to help organize recreational activities for the adolescents including sports, games, arts, or music. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own ideas to engage the youth. Other responsibilities can include organizing workshops for youth and community, engaging in outreach efforts in the neighborhood, helping the youth understand everyday activities and working in small groups for academic tutoring.
