Skills Needed/ Experience
Professional Education Teachers and therapists are highly valued. Some level of maturity is helpful. Willingness to adapt to a different culture is necessary. There are enough Thai staff that speak basic English to help the volunteer to adjust. Also, there is usually other English speaking volunteers present. Volunteer needs to be able to work independently as well as with a group.

Detailed Location Information
Pakkred, Nonthaburi is on the outskirts of Bangkok. Public transportation is excellent and cheap as is the local food. Thai food is the best in the world. Lots of fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, etc. Pakkred is very Thai. Not many foriegners are present. The people live on little income. However, within an hour one can be downtown Bangkok which is very westernized. There are many interesting places to see in Thailand as well as in neighboring countries such as Laos, Burma, Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam;
