OMPT's mission is to help educate the world's poorest billion people with low-cost technology. Our goal of equipping 10 million teachers with portable media players supports the 2015 UN Millennium Development Goals.
The Program Department seeks an energetic volunteer to assist with research to gather evidence of success from non-government organizations. OMPT is focused upon the deployment of educational interventions using audiovisual technology. The interventions are taking place in the world?s poorest countries. The research includes visiting web sites, contact via e-mail and Skype. The ideal candidate will have an interest in non-profits, research and the alleviation of extreme poverty.
