| The Global Volunteer Network currently has opportunities to join a rebuilding and rehabilitation team to Haiti.
Volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of work, including: Working with Children, Teaching, Health/Medical, Building and construction, and Counselling.
Volunteers will be staying in tents in a secure compound based in Jacmel, Haiti.
Volunteers will be working with children, youth and women within two camps; Pinchinat and Kay Wolf. These camps have more than 3,000 people who become homeless after the quake. Volunteers will be running education classes for children as the schools have been closed down until September.
Volunteers will be assisting one of our partners in running a research unit to help people overseas to get news of their families in Haiti. Suitable qualified volunteers will be assisting one of our partners in the construction area in helping families return to their homes, health, counseling and rehabilitation field.
