Goal: $7,000
  $140 raised

The Big Picture

Teach with Africa partners with the LEAP Science and Maths Schools in South Africa and sends educators who work alongside LEAP faculty, increasing teaching capacity and classroom resources.

From June to August 2011, TWA will send 20-25 experienced teachers to five schools across South Africa ? four campuses of the LEAP Schools in Cape Town and Johannesburg, which have had remarkable success in educating the most economically/socially challenged students, as well as a new pilot project for Early Childhood Development at a rural village school in Sabi Sands, near Kruger National Park.

An investment in Teach with Africa demonstrates your belief that children in every country around the globe deserve the opportunity to be educated and contribute to their community and lead productive lives.

Impact of Your Donation

Every $7000 raised will fund an additional Teach with Africa Fellow for summer, 2011, and beyond.

Each teacher will affect the lives of hundreds of township and rural children whose education has been impeded by the legacy of apartheid.
