The Big Picture
Hungry for social change? Host the most unique dinner party of the year and help us fight child poverty.
Eat So They Can is an exciting global fundraiser launched by GVN-Foundation in 2007 to coincide with the UN's World Poverty Day and focuses specifically on the plight of children in Africa.
We invite individuals around the world to host a meal between October 16th-17th 2010 and each guest makes a donation. The money raised from these events will be used to support our partner organizations worldwide who work tirelessly to end child poverty.
In 2008 we raised $55,000 USD and in 2009 we raised over $180,000 USD. This year we aim to raise $500,000 USD but we need your help - and your hungry friends!

Impact of Your Donation
All money raised through Eat So They Can benefits the Global Children's Fund set up especially to aid children living in poverty. By addressing both immediate and long-term issues, the funds will make a significant impact on the lives of the children in the programs we support in Africa, South America, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
