| Casa Avian Support Alliance, NGO, is seeking the help of volunteers who are committed to bio-diversity conservation through avian rehabilitation and release, habitat restoration and education. Volunteering with CASA provides the enrichment and memories obtained from the immersion in a new culture, the opportunity for hands-on day-to-day participation in the array of activities required to operate and maintain an ex-situ conservation facility, the joys and reward of avian release following rehabilitation and/or rearing.
Working alongside the English speaking staff, including Spanish and Mayan speakers, you will help with habitat restoration projects, purchasing of supplies and materials from local vendors and marketplaces, educational outreach, and the husbandry of current patients. Volunteers with professional veterinary, related medical, or rehabilitation training, should elaborate on those skills.
