Description of Services:
Our safe water program provides clean water in rural Iganda villages, usually through community-constructed shallow wells.

Our orphan program supports the education of 14 secondary schoolers and 2 university students.

Our Healthy Villages program encompasses a variety of programs that address nutrition, safe motherhood and family planning, village sanitation and hygiene, obstetric fistula, HIV/AIDS, eye health, and malaria. Through Healthy Villages we also train and support Village Health Teams (VHTs) and build capacity at local, government health centers.

Healthy Villages is an innovative, grassroots approach to addressing rural healthcare and public health in Uganda. Its goal is to improve the provision of healthcare and of preventative health education to underserved populations across rural Iganga District. Though Healthy Villages we target the primary health risks of the region at a village-by village-level, working always with the District Health Office (DHO) of Iganga, with Sub-County officials, and with local Health Center staff.
