Additional Information

Additional Background Information:
What We Do: Right To Play programs foster healthy physical, social and emotional development of children and build safer and stronger communities. Everyday we witness the positive impact sport has on refugee children, former child combatants, children with a disability, and young people at risk or orphaned by HIV/AIDS or war.

How does Right To Play work with children? The children with whom Right To Play works have been seriously affected by conflict, poverty and disease, often for long periods of time. Right To Play Local Coaches help to provide normalization to these children. Through these regular games and activities, the Right To Play Coaches teach children about self esteem, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution and important health issues.
