Gift Package: Send a Disadvantaged Girl to College for $700 a Year

$600 is all it takes to help one disadvantaged girl in the Philippines realize her dreams of become a doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, medical professional, scientist or engineer. The Corazon Roxas Foundation assists organizations who provide help to girls who have been victims of abuse, human trafficking or abandonment. Our educational grant is in partnership with the accredited, prestigious Emilio Aguinaldo College, who through their Yaman Lahi Foundation, will provide a 50% grant match for each student in the program. In addition, they will provide part time employment for the recipient to allow her the means to pay for her school supplies and living expenses. Our girls are carefully screened and selected through trusted and established partnerships with orphanages, homes, and schools. Providing this educational opportunity in the fields of medicine, education, law, science and engineering helps train these women for professional careers. This not only empowers these women but also saves them from a life of poverty which quickly can turn to prostitution, human traficking or future abuse. By raising their educational level, we provide a shining example of how knowledge can raise the standard of living for herself and her family, slowing the cycle of poverty.
