The Ouelessebougou Alliance provides training and stipends for 25 village midwives who are responsible for delivering babies and providing pre and post natal care for mothers and their infants.
Your $50 donation will cover all the costs to train one village midwife for an entire year so that she has the skills to reduce infant mortality in her village. Three years ago neo-natal resuscitation was added to the matron training program. Many lives have been saved due to this critical training!
