The Big Picture
The Global Fund for Children (GFC) supports community-based organizations that offer critical programs to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children in their communities. We identify organizations with innovative ideas and fund them at a crucial point in their evolution, providing both program support and capacity-building services. In the next five years, GFC will invest more than $700,000 in long-term recovery and renewal efforts for children and youth in earthquake-affected communities in Haiti by providing small grants and capacity-building support to grassroots organizations.
Impact of Your Donation
Since the 2010 earthquake, GFC has expanded our grantmaking in Haiti from 3 to 11 local partners that are working with children affected by the disaster. We are providing program grants of $5,000-20,000 per year as well as capacity-building services.
