Seeds for Tomorrow.
The food crisis in Haiti is urgent, yet it requires not only an immediate response but also long-term, sustainable solutions. The Lambi Fund supports Haitian communities in their efforts to achieve domestic food security, rather than becoming dependent on foreign food aid.
A seed bank enables Haitian farmers to plant inexpensive, high-quality seeds and grow food to feed their families for years, instead of having to buy expensive seed that often wipes away any profit gained from selling crops. Your gift will provide community members with seeds and also sustainable agriculture training -- empowering Haitian farmers and feeding families through access to reasonably priced food that they grow themselves.
