Gift Package: Provide a Victim With One Hour of Time on the Crisis Line

All Photos In 2008 we received 1182 crisis calls. Through the crisis line, we were able to assist 363 families. The international toll free crisis line is the only lifeline these victims have. Toll charges on the international toll free domestic violence crisis line average $ 2.50 per minute or $150.00 per hour. While we may work with these victims from just one day to several years, the time needed on the initial phone call to gather all important information and produce a case profile is 1 hour. Follow-up calls may be required, but to keep costs down, we try to do this via email.
