The Big Picture
Let Kids Be Kids assists many organizations, support the homeless community with their basic needs. We promote and assist in supporting transitions out of homelessness.
See the website page "Helping Hands " on http://www.letkidsbekids.org to see how the community is supportive of the homeless.
Needs include food, tents,sleeping bags, batteries, clothing, padding for cots, cots, sleeping bags etc.
Funds will support our continuing educational outreach to the greater community.
"View from the Tent" a new book sharing the reflections of a homeless man is available on http://www.lulu.com/content/2038830 as well as at Borders, Barnes & Noble, Google. Net proceeds will be used to support our projects.
Impact of Your Donation
Purchase of food,tents, sleeping bags, clothing, batteries etc to support various homeless shelters in and out of doors. Shelter over sight groups only furnish relocation expenses of the outdoor shelters, sanicans, truck rental on move day. All other supportive monies come through donations.
Funds will also support our ongoing series of educational presentations, school fairs, seminars,project organization as we educate students, parents, businesses, Church groups and service organizations.

Let Kids Be Kids is a non-profit dedicated to encouraging young people, lower school through University level, to become involved in educational, service learning/community service opportunities. We believe that through these experiences we can promote a stronger relationship to academics, critical thinking and the development of our future leaders.
We want to Allow Young People a Voice in the challenges we all face in an ever-changing world.
