Training on the use of audiovisual information and communication technologies. Our program design and management help prepare organizations to create content and distribute audiovisual lessons using battery powered portable media players, audio speakers and small portable video projectors. We specialize in remote locations without electrical power grids where we provide solar panels and hand cranked battery chargers.

Key to OMPT's success is the use of Low Cost Audiovisual Technology ; small, portable hardware to play recorded educational material for student groups anywhere in the world. It is particularly applicable for distant places in the least developing countries since both solar panels and human powered crank generators can be used to recharge the batteries. OMPT helps bring a "portable teacher" to remote areas where trained teachers and learning materials are scarce. We aim to enhance the engagement of students, and help develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. We extend the reach and increase the capacity of teachers and trainers in the most under-served places where educational opportunities are needed the most. .
