Gift Package: Peace Caravans for Christian and Muslim children

Peace Caravans are an international peace-building program that brings together Muslim and Christian children in violence-torn areas of the Philippines to develop friendship and mutual support. The program was created and is organized by Asia America Initiative and is conducted by public school teachers, youth volunteers and community leaders. Children travel in "peace caravans" in school buses for training in schools in nearby neighborhoods alien to their own communities. AAI supports a variety of peace building programs in the Christian and Muslim regions of the Philippines as models for similar countries throughout Asia. We integrate health, education, vocational training and healing the trauma of war through art and music. The children who participate act as "catalysts for peace" need your support. . Your donation of $20 will support peace education materials for 5 students. $100 will assist a class of 25 children who participate in AAI in Peace Caravans.
