The Big Picture
AAI's Peace Caravans have been bringing together hundreds of Christian and Muslim students and young professionals in the Philippines for the first time.
These two-day events are conducted in public schools and community centers in impoverished areas of Manila and in the armed conflict areas of Mindanao. As a result, there are now more than 500 "Catalysts for Peace", inter-faith volunteers from elementary school through college. They serve as active symbols of peace for their families, schools and communities.
Impact of Your Donation
Your financial contribution will provide for transportation, meals and art supplies for 500 Christian and Muslim children to attend the Peace Caravans, as well as school supplies, food and materials for peace building activities dufing November through 2010 through May 2011.
