Project: Medical and Infrastructure Efforts in Haiti

Following the earthquake in January of this year, The Hope Alliance provided relief efforts to our nine orphanages and schools. Many of our children, staff, caretakers, and friends were killed and many were simply lost in the aftermath of the post quake Haiti. Our two relief teams purchased food, water, tents, tarps, and medical and emergency items. We moved orphans from the fallen COQ Chante Orphanage to Cramatin and repaired cistern and south walls for safety. The next couple of years will be pivotal in setting up sustainable programs in Haiti. The Haiti vision is to create a premier and model home for abandoned and orphaned children in Cramatin, where orphans will be healthy, safe, fed, and have an opportunity for an education and future vocational training.
