The Big Picture
11 million lives are at risk due to the worst drought to hit Somalia and the Horn of Africa in 60 years. Relief International has provided food and nutritional supplements to those at risk in Somalia, the hardest hit country. RI staff members have already screened 25,000 children for malnutrition and have treated close to 2,000 children through outpatient therapeutic feeding programs. By drilling wells and building rain water collectors, Relief International has also provided sustainable disaster relief and has ensured that this widespread famine does not happen again.

Donations will be used for food and nutritional supplements for malnourished children. Outpatient therapeutic feeding programs return severely malnourished children to health--quickly.
