We believe in the principles of abundance & the common brotherhood of man, & in helping create happier, healthier, self-sufficient people wherever hungry people can be reached & taught.

History:
The Foundation is charged with the responsibility and privilege of carrying on and expanding the great humanitarian work of the late Dr. Jacob R. Mittleider, who created 10 books, 9 subject-specific manuals, and 86 video training lectures. He conducted 75 humanitarian gardening training and demonstration projects in 27 countries over 37 years, and he helped immeasurably in the creation of the Foundation and preparing for digitizing and modernizing his body of work. James Kennard was highly privileged to receive personal one-on-one mentoring over many years from Dr. Mittleider, and received his blessing as successor to and conservator/steward of these unique gardening materials after 20 years of personal dedication to learning the methods.
Accomplishments & Progress:
Since 1998 the Foundation and Mr. Kennard have conducted projects in Turkey, Madagascar, Armenia (multiple years), and Colombia, and have assisted with others' projects in several other countries.
