The Big Picture

In the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan, there are over 200 internally displaced families living in desperation. Many are headed by women widowed by the violence of the Taliban. They face not only a severe lack of food and shelter, but also of hope and a voice. Their children also suffer from a severe shortage of schools.

AAI works with Meena Research Services and Development Organization (MRSDO), an NGO specializing in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. We help them by donating food, water, and clothing, and by creating schools, health centers, and weather-proof homes. The objective is to bring about social stability and development, one family at a time.

Impact of Your Donation

A family of ten needs $200 a month to survive. Your donations will help us provide food, water, clothing and build shelter, health centers, and schools. The $4,500 amount listed will be channeled to the 42 family members that are featured on our program website, all of whom live in extreme poverty. Many also suffer from serious health issues.
