Gift Package: Educate a high-school student for one year

All Photos Help a low-income student in Chile receive an accredited education, job skills training and the opportunity to build a better future by covering the cost of tuition and school supplies for a year. In 1991, Fundación Origen began the Escuela Agoecológica de Pirque (EAP), an integral learning institution to address the academic and personal development needs of high school youth. Students are primarily at-risk adolescents, who are orphaned, abandoned, teen-age mothers, delinquent or recovering from substance abuse, 80% of whom live below the poverty line. Due to diverse economic crises affecting Chile and the world, EAP has experienced a drop in funding from the Ministry of Education and from local and international donors.
