Gift Package: Educate a Girl, Educate a Nation

This gift package supports the education of girls in Sierra Leone by providing scholarships, school & teaching supplies. This provides a proven path to empowerment of their families and the nation as a whole. Because girls are participating in much fewer numbers and for shorter periods, particular attention to girls is essential, not only for the development of the country, but to fulfill the right of every child to education. We need to ensure that as many girls as boys attend school, if we are to achieve universal primary education - UNICEF. Beneficiaries will include the all-girls FAWE school in Freetown, Sierra Leone and other selected schools. This is in direct concert with the UN Millennium goals.
