The severe drought across Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda and Djibouti has left an estimated 11.5 million people on the brink of starvation. Their one and only meal may be a meager helping of boiled beans or a soup made from cooking oil. Most days, they will go without.

Impact of Your Donation
This fund will help ActionAid deliver emergency food supplies and water to many people who are struggling to survive in the region.
Along with our immediate relief efforts, ActionAid is working with local partners to run income generating and school feeding programs that build the long-term resilience of communities currently affected by the drought.
