All Photos We are dedicated in assisting, in the most direct way possible, organizations that provide education, housing or care for children in developing countries. The Foundation assists organizations that provide care to infants and young girls in shelters and orphanages in developing countries. We focus on girls who have been abused, abandoned or are victims of human trafficking as they face significant barriers be it cultural, ethnic or social.

Description of Services:
We currently have two programs 1) Providing care packages to orphanages of food, toiletries, school supplies, vitamins, childrens books and girls clothing 2) Providing educational grants to girls who have been abused, abandoned or trafficked, Our program specifically is for girls who want a higher education (college level) in the fields of science, medicine, engineering or technology but do not have the means or resources to do so. We have a 50% grant match from a local foundation in the Philippines who will also provide a part time job for the girls who qualify for the grant to help offset expenses and provide work experience.
History:
Our interest in helping abused children came visiting an orphanage in the Philippines during vacation. Their needs were great. We began simply sending one orphanage a food shipment then expanded to more homes caring for abused and neglected girls. The pictures and gratitude we received back were inspiring knowing that our small efforts made a huge difference in their lives. We decided to expand our effort, sending children's reading books scheduled for landfill in the US to Philippine schools thousands of miles away. To truly make a lasting difference in their lives, we now provide educational grants to give these girls the best chance through a professional educational in the medical, IT or engineering fields.
Accomplishments & Progress:
Since our inception in late 2008, we have shipped several thousand pounds of books, girl's clothing, food, toiletries and school supplies to several orphanages and homes for abused girls in the Philippines. Our carefully screened orphanages and homes provide exceptional care to disadvantaged girls. Additionally, we have sent thousands of children's reading books to Philippine elementary schools . In 2010, we will provide these girls a promising future by sending our first educational grant recipients to college.
