Project: Closing the Borders to Human Trafficking Initiative

BSCC was funded by the U.S. Department of State, Office to Combat and Monitor Trafficking in Persons, to conduct coalition building, provide training and technical assistance, and advocacy in order to address human trafficking throughout the United States-Mexico cross-border region. Through conferences, events, and coalition building activities BSCC targets key regions and agencies (law enforcement, NGOs, etc.) throughout the border to address this issue. Moreover, BSCC funds an active coalition of agencies including shelters for minors, victims of commercial sexual exploitation. Without additional funding BSCC will not be able to continue expanding this important binational project.
