The Big Picture
With over 8 million medically uninsured Californians, there is an urgent need for medical, educational and child care supplies to an increasing number of community health clinics throughout California. These 100+ clinics need everything from vitamins to EKG machines to effectively treat the unemployed or uninsured patients.
Operation USA provides essential medical supplies to these clinics with donations from major health care companies, hospitals and concerned individuals. Donations are distributed to our partner clinics and passed on to thousands of patients. We also provide disaster preparedness training to clinic staff, including disaster drills, hazard mitigation and more.
Impact of Your Donation
Your donation will help to distribute medical supplies to our 100+ partner clinics. This includes donations from our Open House program. Operation USA opens the doors of two warehourses in Los Angeles and San Francisco to local clinics. Participants can pick up medical supplies free of charge. But donations do not only provide essential medical supplies to patients. Clinics can transfer savings into patient services--providing affordable, quality healthcare to the medically underserved.
