Additional Information

Additional Background Information:
American women and children living in foreign countries who are victims of domestic violence and child abuse are often alone, isolated, don?t understand the local language and are subject to systemic abuse. They face tremendous barriers to leaving the abusive relationship including not having access to their children?s American passports and international treaties that do not recognize the seriousness of domestic violence. We have intimate knowledge of these complex situations.

We are gaining a reputation as the national expert on assisting American civilians being abused overseas by intimate partner violence and child abuse and how to best serve this population with optimum results under difficult circumstances.

We have won numerous awards for our ground-breaking work
National Hometown Hero Award Safety 2007/2005
Better World Regional Award 2007
ROSE Achievement Award 2003
Mary Byron Fdn Celebrating Solutions Award 2003
