University Services
|
Are you looking for service opportunities for students and faculty at your university? Encourage your students to learn about the social issues they can affect around the world.
Here are five ways to get students involved: |
|
|
Are you a student looking to volunteer? We'll help you find an opportunity that's right for you. Engage with giving and volunteering. |

|
1. Add a link on your website to our giving or volunteering opportunities.
You can link directly to our giving or volunteering splashpages, listing our top opportunities. We also have widgets for each of our projects, gift packages, NGOs and volunteer opportunities. Contact us if you’d like us to send you a logo or other image to use!
2. Add a UniversalGiving search form to your website.
Our search form enables your students to find a giving or volunteering opportunity in any country (like Ecuador or China), focusing on any issue (like Education or Poverty). We have hundreds of customized opportunities for your students! Learn more about our search forms.
3. Email your students about international volunteering.
Blast an informative email to your students about how to find international volunteer opportunities using UniversalGiving. Use your campus list serves to get the word out. View sample email.
4. Share our internship opportunities with your students.
We have a great internship program at UniversalGiving, giving interns the combination of responsibility and supportive management, allowing them to gain valuable experience and feel that they are truly having an impact. We’d be happy to connect with your students for internships. See our available internship positions.
5. Invite our CEO to speak on your campus.
Pamela Hawley is a global expert, speaking on a number of topics including global philanthropy and volunteerism, corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and leadership. She has presented at Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and USC Business Schools. Contact Cheryl Mahoney (cmahoney@universalgiving.org) to discuss having her speak at your campus. Watch a recent video presentation targeting young adults.
