UniversalGiving™ has been busy
UniversalGiving™ has been busy this summer! We've been improving our service,
expanding our global reach through new partnerships and adding to our team.
We are also pleased to announce a few milestones for our unique service: $1,000,000
donated and 5,000 volunteers matched with our top-performing organizations. We hope
that you are as excited by these changes and achievements as we are.
NEW PARTNERS:
UniversalGiving™, Cisco partnership provides international volunteer and donation
opportunities for employees
We are proud to announce our new partnership with Cisco Systems, Inc. to further
Cisco's worldwide giving and volunteering programs. UniversalGiving™ will identify,
qualify, and then connect Cisco employees with the top-performing international
nongovernmental organizations (NGO) and projects on a worldwide basis. UniversalGiving's™
core competency of sourcing NGO content with quality metrics is unique to the industry.
The "City Launch" program helps employees reach their volunteer goals and encourages
long-lasting relationships between the NGOs and Cisco. UniversalGiving™ will begin
working with The Cisco Foundation, Cisco Civic Councils and Community Relations
offices in Europe, the Middle East and India to start similar city launches.
NEW FEATURES:
This summer UniversalGiving™ is excited to announce some blockbuster improvements
to our website that will make it easier for you to support our exceptional NGO
partners! We have consolidated the donating process in order to create a seamless
donor experience.
By allowing you to give directly on the UniversalGiving™ website, we will be able to
help you with any questions you might have about the donating process. We hope
that this upgrade will make it easier to select and fund the causes important to
you. UniversalGiving™ is making it easy to donate the small fortune that you would
have spent at the movies to any number of our NGO partners that inspires you.
Need some Oscar-worthy suggestions on where to donate? Why not help empower grandparents
to care for AIDS orphans in Kenya, support battered Guatemalan women in achieving
self-sufficiency, build a library in Tanzania, or sponsor a class of school children
in Indonesia.
NEW FACES:
UniversalGiving™ would like to welcome Claudia Frere as UniversalGiving's™ new Chief
Operations Officer. As COO, she will be responsible for the organization's business units,
administration, product development, as well as working with the CEO on UniversalGiving's™
SROI performance. Ms. Frere's professional background involves over eleven years of client
relations and product management experience. Starting her career in the financial services
industry, Ms. Frere worked with high-profile corporate accounts for trustee services and

corporate management skills towards social impact and became VolunteerMatch's Group
Director of Client Services where she worked with Fortune 500 companies and launched

tangible results for social impact and is committed to value creation that changes the
world and we are excited to have her join our team. Meet Claudia and the rest of the
