Dear UniversalGiving Friend:
As Thanksgiving nears, we prepare to give special thanks for all that we have. It is a celebration of home, family and love over a nourishing Thanksgiving feast!
This Thanksgiving, why not give gratitude by providing a meal for a family in need?
For example, you can give a family in Kenya a solar cooker for $30 - allowing them to spend money on food rather than firewood. You might decide to provide a small loan for a woman in Bolivia so she can start a business and in turn, put food on the table for her family. Or, feed a starving child in Nepal for $250 dollars. By sponsoring her stay at a Nutritional Rehabilitation Home, she will receive care while her mother learns to feed her family nutritiously.
We invite you to share the spirit of this season with another family. Provide your generosity to another area of the world. Give thanks in a new way!
