The Financial Expert will help UniversalGiving increase our global impact through international giving and volunteering. We are seeking an experienced professional who can work closely with our CEO on SROI and organizational goals. Our ideal candidate will have consulting experience and is used to working with a variety of companies helping them take their business metric models to the next level.
Results tracking include outputs such as number of donations, # of volunteers, # of volunteer hours (to date we have given more than 24 million in volunteer hours, through global service trips), across different countries and issues. We also want to measure outcomes such as lives changed or disaster relief situations alleviated. Sources include: website results; traffic reports; SEO; Social Media; Revenue as measured against our goals.
UniversalGiving Corporate provides our sustainability. We would examine how much support helps sustain UniversalGiving, compared to donations. We will need to examine corporate revenue versus donations in providing our organizational support. In addition, we would also track the increased results of our corporate clients' giving and volunteer time, by working with UniversalGiving. What is the ROI by working with UniversalGiving, i.e. the increase in corporate foundation giving and employee donations that were delivered, in which countries; the increase in employee volunteering, number of hours of "volunteer time" donated; and which have increased by engaging with UniversalGiving.
As a social entrepreneurship organization, we generate revenue and are at times cash flow positive, and we have an SROI (but needs to be updated). We need an expert to integrate results from different sources, and help us examine them from a mulitfaceted perspective. Our goal is to drive more results and leverage our impact, worldwide.

Minimum of five years of professional experience in finance

Office located within Impact Hub SF complex, amongst other regional, national and global organizations committed to positive social change
Duration: Minimum of 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 to 4 months. Ideal candidates are available to work in our San Francisco office 3-4 days/week (Monday through Friday) with the possibility of some work completed remotely.
